Top Kids Newsletter August 2026

Dear friends,

Greetings and love from the Top Kids team in Bangkok.  We give thanks to the Lord for all His blessings this year, and we are deeply grateful to everyone who continues to pray for us, support us, and faithfully stand with us in ministry.

In this newsletter we would like to share a few updates and celebrate what God has been doing through the Top Kids Ministry over the past eight months.

Today, we are grateful to share some stories of God’s faithfulness, provision and guidance with you, so that together we can celebrate His goodness and continue to pray for what He is doing through this ministry.

Recent Events

New Building

We successfully purchased the house next door (building on right in photo).  Previously, we shared with you our plan to purchase two houses next to our ministry property, with the hope of creating additional space for the growth of the ministry and future activities.

Today, we give thanks to God that we have been able to do this! We are deeply grateful for God’s provision and for everyone who prayed for this need. We believe this house will be more than just a building. We pray that God will use it as another place where children, young people and people in the community can come to learn, grow, and experience His love. 

Friend Day

Last month Top Kids organized a special “Friend Day” for the children in our ministry, with the theme “Jesus Is a Good Friend.”

Our goal for this event was for the children to learn that Jesus is not only our Savior, but also the best friend we could ever have. He is always with us, listens to us, loves us, and never leaves us. The children enjoyed games, activities, and a time of learning God’s Word together. We were able to build meaningful relationships with the children and share the love of Jesus through activities filled with joy and purpose. 

Bible Teachers' Training in Nakhon Ratchasima

Earlier this year, Top Kids organized a Bible Teachers’ Training in Nakhon Ratchasima, with 19 people joining the training. Each one of them had a fun time as they were encouraged and equipped to teach God’s Word to children in their churches and communities.

Our prayer is that what was shared during the training will continue to be used by God to make an impact and bring transformation to the lives of many children.

Serving at the WOI Summit 2026

This year, the Top Kids team had the privilege of serving and supporting the WOI Summit 2026. We worked alongside different teams to prepare the materials needed for teaching children, as well as taking part in various activities throughout the Summit.

We also set up a small activity booth to introduce and promote the Top Kids ministry, giving participants a chance to learn more about our ministry and see what God is doing through our work with children and communities. 

Pao and Pupae Visit to New Zealand

In July, Pao and Pupae had the opportunity to travel to New Zealand for five weeks to learn, build relationships, and be strengthened for ministry.

We were blessed with many new experiences and encouragement from our brothers and sisters in Christ. We were very aware of God’s protection and guidance throughout the journey and are thankful for everyone who prayed for and supported us. 

Top Kids Family Day

Last month our team organized Top Kids Family Day events in Tung Song Hong and Community and Thai Samut Village. These family days were a wonderful opportunity to meet children and families, build meaningful relationships, and share the love of Jesus through a variety of activities.

One of our greatest joys has been seeing more children and families begin joining our regular Top Kids programs as a result of these outreach and evangelism events.

We have seen a significant increase in children and families attending our after-school programs on Wednesdays and Thursdays, as well as our church activities on Saturdays and Sundays. We believe this is the fruit of prayer and God’s work in these communities. We are deeply thankful to see more children and families drawing closer to God and becoming part of the Top Kids community.

Two Children Have Decided to Be Baptized

One of the most exciting and joyful pieces of news for us is that Lookchin and Meen, two children from the Top Kids ministry, have decided to be baptized. They will be baptized on September 6, 2026.

This is deeply meaningful to us because our desire is not simply for children to attend our activities. We want to see them know Jesus, develop a personal relationship with Him, and grow in their faith. We are very encouraged by the decision these two children have made and pray that we will see many more children take steps of faith and continue to grow in their relationship with Jesus.

Prayer and Praise Points

1) Pray that God would open the hearts of the children and their families to know Him more deeply. Pray that the children who come to Top Kids would not simply participate in activities, but would truly grow in their faith, develop a personal relationship with Jesus, and know Him more deeply.

2) Please pray for the growth of Top Kids Ministry. Please pray for wisdom, strength, and God’s guidance for our team as we serve more children and families. Pray that God would lead us as we begin using the new house, that it would become a place of ministry, a blessing to children, families, and the community, and fruitful for His Kingdom.

3) Please pray for the children who are growing in their faith. Especially pray for Lookchin and Meen as they prepare to be baptized on September 6. Pray that God would strengthen and protect them, help them stand firm in their faith, and grow as faithful followers of Jesus.

4) Pray for Financial Provision and the New Meeting Room. Please pray that God would provide the finances and resources needed to renovate the new house and build a new meeting room for ministry use. Pray also for wisdom in planning, clear direction, and solutions for any challenges that may arise throughout the construction process.

Please pray that God would provide skilled builders, contractors, and people with willing hearts to serve and help bring this project to completion. May every step be guided and provided for by God, so that this new space will serve the ministry well and be a blessing to the children, families, and community.
