REAP China Update April - September 2017

 

Greetings in Jesus' mighty name. We give thanks that the gospel is bearing fruit all across the rurals of China. 

The collective labour of 212 evangelists in rural China yielded:

Over 2.0 million gospel tracts distributed,
Over 63,000 conversions to Christ,
Over 17,000 baptised,
Over 500 new house churches planted, and
24,500 bibles given to new believers

Praise God that we can sow, harvest, and build churches and disciples in rural China amongst the lost millions.

W is a 48 year old female who is married with one daughter.

Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) God to bless China with the gospel
2) God to bless my family members
3) God to grant me wisdom in my ministry work
4) God to open gospel doors in our area
5) God to send revival to our church

On the way to visit my friend, I shared the gospel to two people who were sitting beside me. We talked about the dead and why man dies. I told them that due to man being sinful we have to face judgment. So we need to settle our sin by coming to accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour. I answered all the questions that they posted to me. Finally they accepted Christ. I told them of a church that they can attend in their place.

R is a 63 year old female who is married with one daughter.

Pray for:
1) God to grant salvation to my family members
2) God to grant my daughter a child
3) God to grant me wisdom in ministries
4) God to open the gospel door in our area
5) God to send revival into our church

I share the gospel with all races of people which include U's, the minority M in China. The responses are good. I pray for them daily, that God send revival unto this tribe and glorify His holy name.

Z is a 24 year old male who is single.

2) Unity in the church
3) God to bless the youth ministry 
4) God to grant me wisdom to do theological study

During Christmas 2017 nearly 1,000 people attended our Christmas party in the rural. After that we did a lot of follow-up and visitation. Pray that God will let the gospel seed to grow in them.

S is a 25 year old female who is single.

Pray for:
1) All the pastors in rural Y to be righteous in their teaching
2) The churches in rural Y will be more mission minded to spread the gospel
3) God to grant good health to my little sister
4) God to bless the ministry that I am involved in
5) God to revive the youth in my church spiritually 

The youth in the rural areas of Y often get married young. Normally around the age of 18 most of them will get married. This motivates me to have passion for youth work. I have started a children and youth ministry in the rural. The needs there are so high but we have limited resources. Pray that God will send more young people to minister in rural Y.

Z is a 37 year old female who is married with four children.

Once we went out to distribute the gospel tracts. At first some of them were scared due to the new law but later we had the joy in obeying God's Word. Thank God for the opportunities to serve Him.
