REAP Sarawak Evangelists Report for July-December 2014

 

REAP Sarawak (Malaysia) is on the roll with a total of 100 evangelists being trained and sent to reach longhouses in the interior. Praise the Lord and thank you for being a partner. 

The combined labours of 88 evangelists to date has seen;
- over 32,000 evangelised
- over 13,000 conversions to Christ
- over 6,600 baptised
- over 37,000 gospel tracts distributed
- 2,000 Bibles sent

Thank you once again for sharing in the harvest. Enclosed is personal update reports on the five evangelists supported by BHW for your prayers and thanksgiving.

 

Evangelists

LAC

LAC is a 53 year old man who is married and has four children.

Ministry report July - December 2014
Number of people evangelised - 35
Number of conversions - 12
Number of people baptised - 3 

Prayer Requests
1) The village people at Marakai, even though they have accepted Christ, they are still not free from their old beliefs
2) Ability for him to minister the Word of God with a sound doctrine
3) The new believers that have received Christ to be strong in the Lord
4) Safety during travel - there are a lot of new areas that he needs to go in 2015
5) The training courses that he plans to do this year  

BL

BL is a 46 year old man who is married with three children.

Number of conversions - 13
Number of people baptised - 13 

Prayer Requests
1) Strength in the ministry
2) The new believers to be strong in their faith
3) The children's ministry which he is organising
4) The new pastor who is coming to help them with follow up and discipleship
5) Protection and provision of needs in the ministry

He gives thanks to God because those who have been evangelised and received Christ are full of courage for the Lord.   

JAG

JAG is a 32 year old married man.

Number of conversions - 50
Number of people baptised - 8 

Prayer Requests
1) God's guidance, strength, anointing, wisdom and good health for him
2) The tribal people staying in the longhouses whom he has shared the gospel with. Pray for the Holy Spirit to touch them.
3) More headmen to open their hearts to the gospel
4) Young people, that they will have the desire to serve the Lord and be a good testimony
5) Those who have believed in Jesus Christ to grow strong in their faith

During his ministry in one of the longhouses, a man offered his black magic item to be burnt as he surrendered his life to Jesus. Praise the Lord!

BAA

BAA is a 26 year old single man.

Prayer Requests
1) For strength, wisdom and courage to evangelise
2) Those that he has evangelised will be fired up and grow well in God's word
3) Each village that he has evangelised - pray that all the headmen will become a good testimony to the people in the longhouses
4) His family - God's peace and provision
5) God's provision for his ministry

There is a Christian sister named B. Before she was healed she was a depressed person and afraid to meet people. Thank God after persistent prayer by the church members she is now set free. All glory to God! 

RAE

RAE is a 24 year old single women.

Prayer Requests
1) That those who have heard the gospel will give their life to Christ
2) Those who have received Christ will go through water baptism
3) For her as she is praying about furthering her training at Bible school
4) New believers to grow strong in their faith each day
5) Her needs and protection while travelling

There was a couple who was recently delivered from their bondage under Satan by receiving Christ in their lives. Praise the Lord!
