Celebrating a New Chapter

The recent Top Kids youth activities marked a new season of growth for our youth group. Indeed, 2025 is proving to be a year of significant growth and new beginnings.

We kicked off with a full-day Youth Team Building event. God blessed us with beautiful weather, and through worship, games, skits, and messages, all the youth and leaders were able to build unity, deepen their relationships, learn to work together as a team, and—most importantly—grow in their knowledge of God.

Youth Training Sessions

We also launched youth training sessions in both Thongsunghong and Thaisamut. These sessions provided time for them to reflect on God's work in their lives and share their heartfelt stories with the team. Our young people are learning to serve the Lord with the unique gifts each has been given, moving toward the goals and milestones God has already prepared for us. Together, we continue to develop and strengthen these gifts so that His ministry may bear even greater fruit each day.

Expansion of Team

One of the biggest highlights here has been the expansion of our team. Alongside Pao and Pupae, we now have Nat, Nom, and Mew, whom Pupae had developed a strong fellowship with since the World Outreach Youth Camp. They provide wonderful support and leadership for the children, which has been a tremendous help. We've even formed a worship team that serves together regularly every Sunday, with Pao leading the singing, Pupae on the keyboard, and others on drums, electric guitar, and bass.

Personal Stories

Pao's Story

changed lifeI'm Pao, a leader at Top Kids Thongsunghong. This is my testimony of my life before I knew Jesus—who chose me out of disappointment and failure and rebuilt me for His work.

I grew up in a low-income family of street vendors; our livelihood came from selling food at the market. The community around me was full of temptations – drug dealing, alcoholism, and family violence. I was often left to fend for myself as everyone in my family had to work. From the age of seven, I had to get myself ready for school every morning.

At twelve, I dropped out of primary school, and my grandmother kicked me out of the house. I spent time with friends and got involved in destructive ways without understanding the consequences. At thirteen, my health declined, and I was arrested – falsely accused of stealing, and later, of drug possession. I was just a child and didn't understand what was happening. I ended up in a juvenile detention centre. I felt utterly ashamed and hopeless. For the first two weeks, I cried every night, feeling like I had no dreams or purpose left. Then, in October 2011, Cheunjit, who was involved in prison ministry (THA07), brought a Christian team from Korea to visit the detention centre. They shared Bible stories, sang songs, played games, and offered such encouragement. At the end of their programme, there was a dance performance – someone dressed in a costume resembling Jesus did a breakdance – and I was deeply moved. In that moment, I felt Jesus loved me. He lifted me up, comforted me, and gave me hope for change. From that point on, I welcomed Jesus into my life.

Now I'm 28 years old. My wife Pupae and I serve full-time in the Top Kids children’s ministry, helping to build dreams, faith, smiles, and lives right here in this slum community. My prayer is that the lost children here will meet Jesus just as I did. God bless you and thank you.

growing togetherPlans for the Future

Pupae will soon have the wonderful opportunity to attend her first-ever overseas conference in Singapore. We thank God for this! The World Outreach team has generously committed to help cover her travel expenses. Given that it will be her first international conference, she was naturally feeling a bit nervous. However, in an amazing turn of events, a generous sponsor made a donation to Prasert, seemingly without knowing the full situation! Because of this wonderful provision, now both Prasert and Pao will also be able to join the conference alongside her. What truly amazing provision!

Prayer and Praise Points

growing team1) Thanks for Prasert's successful surgery. Please continue to pray for her to experience God's healing touch and to be able to faithfully carry out the work God has entrusted to her.

2) We ask that God would pour out His heart upon Nat, Nom, and Mew, our new team leaders. Pray for them to cooperate well within the team and to be good role models in every aspect of their lives.

3) Pray for God's strength and wisdom for Pao and Pupae, who are currently studying the Nations Course, that they may complete their studies well. Also, for good health and an increase in God's joy as they continue to serve together in ministry.

4) Please pray for our emerging leaders, that they will be raised, released, and well-equipped to share Jesus—particularly Jean and Meen, who are currently navigating heavy academic demands, significant career decisions, and family tensions. We ask God for His joy, strength, and renewed purpose to help them thrive in their callings and relationships.

5) Pray for God's anointing over all aspects of Top Kids ministry, especially for His guidance in all future plans.
