Update from Sarah

changing mindsetsI just wanted to share some photos from the community sensitization programs and to first share my experience with the people I met and had a chance to talk to. It was heart warming and amazing! The more I'm exposed to people who have less than enough, people that can barely live through the day, most of them have no idea where and when their next meal will come from, the more I see the hand of God in this project.

I am happy to report a transformation in most parents that have had young girls, even as young as 12 years old, married to much older men just so the family can have a source of income, parents who have been sending children to beg and also sell stuff to generate some income for the family. Most of these parents have actually seen and experienced the dangers they expose their children to. Many of them who are able have found alternative ways to help feed their families rather than exposing the children to vices that only contribute to the increase of street children and the spread of HIV and AIDS which in the end just continues to expand the cycle of violence and mostly poverty.

changing mindsetsI am so thankful that even though I can't change the world God is helping me through you all to spread the word and educate people on how they can improve their lives, change their mindsets and safeguard the children, encouraging education for a better tomorrow, a healthy, safe and educated child raised on biblical morals. I am so blessed to be part of this great mission.

God bless you all and thank-you for your support.  Much love from everyone here.
