Dear brothers and sisters,
I trust that the Lord is looking after you and your families.
I am writing to you in regard to how the ministry of God has impacted people in Bolivia.
The Lord led me to Villamontes, Bolivia in 2002. At that stage there was a small church with only a few believers living there and the church had no elders. The ministry there was originally started by an Australian missionary. The ministry in central Villamontes was where I ministered for 14 years, growing and establishing the church and using it as a base for my evangelism into other towns, villages and rural communities. The church grew to around 80-100 people and when I left in 2015, there were three elders in place.
I started a church plant in another area of Villamontes. The church is called 4th of January. I ministered in that area for 8 years where more than 100 people became members of the new church.
The Lord also led me to a town in Argentina called Tobantirenda, 105km from Villamontes, Bolivia, where 55 people have become Christians.
I started another ministry in Machareti, about 52 kms from Villamontes, where 40 people have become Christians.
Then I started another church plant in San Antonio, another suburb of Villamontes, where there is now a new church with 30 Christians.
From Villamontes I travel to many rural communities where there are no towns or cities and people live in houses dispersed around the countryside.
I believe that apart from the Christians impacted in the planting of the five churches, more than 2,000 have heard the Gospel and been impacted in one way or another.
Blessings,
Octavio
