As you know, this year is not normal and we closed the centre for five months but since we re-opened in August large numbers have come. So far, since August we have already trained around 300 people. We have adapted the training to meet the needs and availability of the people. Courses have been completed or are ongoing in hairdressing, computer/IT, music, art and English.
The 15 students from the Holiness Movement Bible College also come for three days every month so I can teach them. Right now two music courses are running, an art class, a group of Sudanese refugees are learning computer/IT and the Bible school students are in.
For the first six months of 2021, we are planning to continue the courses plus the Bible School. However, there is a great deal of uncertainty again as the number of COVID-19 cases is increasing every day and there is a very real chance that the government will shut down many activities in the country. Many pastors have become infected with COVID and this is causing a lot of issues in churches.
I have attached a photo of the certificate that the government gave us for being one of the top training institutions in the country.
