This report came in from our partner Timothy Kakooza. We are grateful for people like Timothy and Janepher who are so focussed on their community and doing what they can to assist the most vulnerable among the school and community. This report was sent following a request to our partners for updates and information. Please continue to pray for them.

Praise the name of the Almighty God. Thank you reaching out to us during this unprecedented time. In Uganda we are in a lockdown due to this COVID-19.
1) The schools are closed until April 27, 2020. Hopefully we shall be able to open to continue with term one if the situation allows. (This has since been extended for another 3 weeks)
2) Most of our vulnerable children who come from very humble homes are finding it very hard to get the necessary meals.
3) The elderly in our community are also finding it very hard to get basic needs.
4) Most people are gripped with fear and I (Timothy) totally believe this is even more dangerous than the Coronavirus.
5) It has become difficult to travel to get necessities.
6) Food prices are going up.
1) We are praying, trusting God with the solutions
2) We are moving forward cautiously, carefully and prayerfully
3) We are providing food to the most vulnerable families
4) We are also providing food to the elderly
5) Our clinic has remained open
1) Pray for wisdom, protection and courage as we go through this period
2) Pray for our staff
3) We need more provisions to help the growing need
Thank you so much for caring and praying.
Timothy
