Greetings to you from Raja and the family of Home of Hope.
By the grace of Almighty God, my faithfulness and hard work, and people's support we are almost finished the new children's home - just 5% of the job is left. I am sending some of the building photos. It has come up nicely and will accommodate 50 children.
Thanks for your prayer support and financial support on time. My heartfelt thanks to all your team members.
I was enjoying the good construction with the park, and was doing some carving work on the name board for the new children's home in preparation for the inauguration day which is approaching. I was carving a name board with the electric machine, wearing hand gloves on my left hand. I was carving the last word and unexpectedly the blade ran over my left thumb and got stuck in the glove. My left thumb was 90% cut off and it was just hanging. I lost a lot of blood and immediately I rushed to the Baptist Hospital where they attended to me.
After an x-ray they took me to the operating theatre and the operation to reattach my thumb lasted 5 to 6 hours. The operation was a success and the curing part is in the hands of God. They infused three bottles of blood also. I have to remain another three to four days in the hospital.
You are aware that I am shepherding these destitute, so please uphold me in your prayers for a speedy recovery so I can return to taking care of these destitute people.
I am also in a hurry to open the new children's home building and in the meantime this accident took place. Please pray that everything should go smoothly. I trust that you all will kneel down and pray for my speedy recovery. I remain much thankful for your prayers.
I believe in God and He was with me all these years and I still trust that He will continue to be with me in the days to come to serve these destitute. By the grace of God I am slowly recovering. Praise God.
Yours in the service of humanity,
Auto Raja
