REAP Sarawak, Malaysia Evangelists Report for January - June 2026

Dear Partners in the Harvest,

Shalom and greetings in the precious name of our Lord, God, and Saviour Jesus Christ. I trust you are being kept encouraged by the grace and goodness of God.

We give thanks for the gospel advance in Sarawak, which is very encouraging looking at the result.

Thank you for your faithful support and prayers for gospel outreach in Sarawak.

The labour of the 42 REAP Sarawak evangelists saw:
Over 247, 077 evangelised verbally,
Over 53,106 gospel tracts given,
Over 56,725 conversions to Christ,
Over 22,203 baptised,
623 churches planted, and
4,400 bibles given to new converts.

We give glory to God and thank you for your faithful sowing and prayers in gospel partnership. (phil. 1: 3 - 5, 2 Cor. 9: 6)

DM 

DM is a 47-year-old male who is married with three children.

Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) Adjustment to the new place and our ability to communicate well with the local people there.
2) Existing church members to be faithful and cooperate in all church related activities with a willing and joyful heart.
3) The headman of the longhouse who has opened up their longhouse for the gospel will be blessed abundantly by the Lord.
4) Breakthrough and revival to happen. By God's power, their hearts will be changed. The lives of the local people will be set free from anything that is related to their old beliefs. 
5) God's name will be glorified and exalted in every area of Sarawak. 

There was a young married couple whose wife just delivered a baby. The baby had jaundice for quite a long period until he was 2 years old. Due to this, his parents took him to see a shaman. He was always crying without stopping usually in the night. In the month of June, we were doing house visits to pray for the members who will be celebrating Gawai (harvest festival). When we arrived at this family's house, we held a short service. The Holy Spirit opened up the heart of the grandmother who told us that the parents took him to see a shaman. She brought forward the charms and asked us to burn them. The boy was still crying at that time. He had been crying without fail for a couple of days. So, they called us to pray for him, and it was 10pm. We went and prayed for him and God told us that his stomach was full of his own waste. I continued praying for him while carrying him. At 2am in the morning, he had a big bowel movement and out came all the waste. After the bowel movement, the boy was able to sleep well without crying. Now he is growing up well without any problem. All glory and praise to God. Thanks for your support. God bless you. 

DAS

DAS is a 53-year-old woman who is single.

Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) The church council to have a deep commitment to the ministry that has been entrusted to them.
2) Leaders who do not move together with the senior pastor in ministering to souls in the longhouse.
3) God to restore the faith of the congregation who have become Christians but not attending Sunday service. They will be revived and their faith will be restored. 
4) The church members who have not yet reached spiritual maturity despite being Christians for decades. They are still resorting to see witch doctors (shamanism) when they fall sick. 
5) The family, especially for elderly parents (father and mother) that they will continue to be protected and remain steadfast in their love for the Lord Jesus.

There were 11 cell groups but only 1 was active while the other 10 were not holding cell group meetings. The 10 cell groups were reactivated after my ministry began in this place in January 2026. After reactivation of the 11 cell groups, they are now enthusiastic members attending cell groups regularly. 

Many miracles were manifested. Congregation members who had not been attending church for a long time returned to the Lord after experiencing miracles happening in their lives and family. A couple who were childless for a long time, after being prayed for, they are now expecting a child. Please pray that the wife will have a smooth and successful delivery as they are quite old in age. Thanks be to God.

MTJH

MTJH is a 55-year-old married man.

Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) My wife and myself as we minister, that God will lead us to those that he has chosen. 
2) Wisdom in ministry and that the gospel will expand in this area so that many souls will come to the Lord. 
3) The detailed plan for BEM S church and all related matters will make good progress. 
4) Healing for DS who is suffering from pancreas issues. 
5) P, who often sees evil spirits, that God's protection wil lbe with her. 

I received a call in June 2026 from a village head, saying that his grandchild was in a daze and walking around the living room from 5am to 10am. Before going to the longhouse, my wife and I prayed for God's protection upon us, for we knew that we needed God's protection. When we reached there, after seeing the grandchild, we realised that it was not an evil spirit, but he was mentally unsound due to depression. We prayed for him for God's healing and to set him free from depression. Praise God, he was calm when we prayed for him and shared to use the bitterness that he was carrying. I gave him counselling and encouraged him to trust in God. After that he was okay. Praise God. Now he and his grandfather are believers.

MAU

MAU is a 41-year-old married woman with two children.

Prayer Requests
Pray for:
1) The preaching of the gospel, may God continue to lead us to the souls that have not heard the gospel.
2) Those that have not been visited by evangelists, will have the chance to hear the gospel soon. 
3) My desire for young people and parents to be reached so that they will be active in God's work and serve him faithfully. 
4)The new believers to be firm in their faith, obedient and walk in step with the Lord.
5) God's provision for me and my family. 

Great is the faithful love of God because He gives us strength and good health so that our work for His kingdom in Sarawak will bloom and flourish. With the world going haywire, that has led many astray and our busyness. There are many souls that need God and we as His servants have to abide and share the gospel to these people. I am glad that I am one of them doing God's word so that when I see Him in my afterlife, I will be rewarded.
