Merry Christmas 2020 from the Good News Team

Team

Win/NoiNon

victor in JesusFirst of all, let me thank you for your faithful support and prayers for our Team!

After such a different year it has felt so great to be on outreaches again. We see it as a miracle of God. Our new English Day Camp program combined with our usual evangelistic program has received enthusiastic feedback from schools, and we are planning to continue with this program next year too. We’re also challenging ourselves to find new ways to connect with children and teens and raise the number of students enrolled in our Bible course. Thank you for praying with us for these goals!

From a baby my nickname was Noi, which means small. When I joined the Good News Team two of us had that nickname! So I became NoiNon because I’m in Nonthaburi. This year God has been talking to me about how I see myself and it didn’t feel right to always be called ‘small’. I felt it was time for a new nickname, and I chose Win, to remind me always of the victory we have in Jesus.

Wishing you a blessed Advent season and New Year 2021!

thankfulfKanchana

I’m so thankful to be on outreaches again, right now in Nakhon Phanom, and see the students’ hunger for spirituality.

Please pray for all of us that we can stay healthy through all these trips and share God’s love in the schools.

Have a blessed Christmas!

Aye

Pray for all the new students who sign up on the outreaches this month! Please pray also that the videos we make would be helpful for the students as well.

Jeen

There’s a lot of competition for children and teen’s time nowadays, with all the social media and entertainment available to them. Pray that God would draw them to study his word regardless, and that we had the wisdom and creativity to plan compelling lessons and activities.

exciting timesManao

I thank God for this opportunity to work in the Team, this has been my first year! It’s been exciting to go on outreaches again! Pray for my health, I’ve had migraines that aggravate if it’s very hot weather (on the outreach).

Nut

In our new videos we combine fun activities, such as origami paper crafts, with teaching truths about God. Pray for continuous creativity and new ideas for us, and that we could publish even more videos next year.

Bai

It’s been so great to see the response to our library project from schools this year and the new students we’ve gotten that way. At the same time, I’m really enjoying my own Bible studies once a week at the Bangkok Bible Seminary!

Miew

This year I have had many health problems, please pray that I would get stronger. Please also pray for my future plans.

Letters Received in November

exciting to be back outPhuntilar (girl, 14): I want to thank Jesus that he died for all of us and for all our sins. I’ve had some troubles before but God has helped me through them. Thank you to God for all his help.

Chaowarin (girl, 24): When I was in school I heard the good news about Jesus but at that time I wasn’t interested. Then my big sister started to have problems with evil spirits that came to bother her, and the monks couldn’t help. Then I remembered how I had learned about Jesus when I was in school, and told my sister to find out more about him and if he could help her.

Then we got to know you and other people in the church, and Jesus helped my sister—the evil spirits went away and haven’t bothered her anymore. I thank Jesus for sending people to tell me about him when I was young and teach us about God.

Praew (girl): I have a heart disease, and when I’ve had bad symptoms I’ve prayed to God and my syptoms have lessened. Every morning I ask God’s blessing for that day. Please pray for God to heal me so that I could play sports and do things like healthy children.
