Our partners have, following a year’s intensive work, finally been able to have Marumba Christian School registered with the educational authorities in Uganda. Without this they would have been forced to close down as so many other schools have been in Uganda. Recently the school was ranked by the Ministry and Inspectors as being 7th out of 36 schools in the District which is a good achievement also.
Not only did our partners have to carry out a lot of work on the premises and their systems, but they were able to achieve registration without paying any bribes whatsoever. This is virtually unheard of in the Ugandan environment. We congratulate them on this achievement which is a reflection of the very high standards that they are aiming for.
