Update from Thomas Lubari

much needed trainingGreetings from Uganda.

The trauma counselling training kicked off today (10th January) in Koboko town with 57 participants, despite us having limited the number of participants to 30! The training started very well and all had breakfast, lunch and supper since three quarters of the participants are residential.

The participants represented different refugee camps; Rhino, Bidibidi, Yoyo, Ariwa and several clusters. The training will continue to cover important areas of trauma and counselling.

keen participantsA detailed report will be sent later but I just wanted to say thank you. The participants were blessed and shared of many at risk groups who need attention. These at risk groups of people include children who came without parents or whose parents have been killed, and women including widows, the terminally ill, or those whose children are cut off in South Sudan.

Thank you for supporting us to reach these vulnerable, traumatised population.

God bless you

Thomas & Joyce Lubari
