If Bright Hope World's primary assets are our partners - and they are - then our team comes a very close second.
As you'll see below, our team is made up of a range of people from various backgrounds. We have a farmer, a couple of accountants, several lawyers and even a police officer!
But what unites our team is an absolute commitment to - and passion for - serving the poorest of the poor.
Bright Hope World does not pay any of our team, and virtually all of the team covers their own travel costs. This is a big deal, as many of our team travel to challenging and expensive places. Most do this using annual leave from paid employment.
Our Partnership Facilitators, who look after partners in different countries, are writing reports after work, communicating with partners after the kids have gone to bed and working with our partners to solve problems in the weekends. All while - for most - holding full-time jobs.
We are proud of our team and the skills, capability and sacrifice they bring in serving Bright Hope World and our partners.
