June Update

Thank you for praying and for the relief support which came from you. “God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints, and do minister” (Heb. 6:10).

much needed support

9,740 believers have been supplied with either maize meal or rice. Most were desperate and confused not knowing where their help would come from. It has been said there was much singing and dancing when the relief arrived.

The cyclone and the rains have not only caused misery and pain but have given us a lot of opportunities to present the gospel to the desperate people and communities affected.

In the past 10 weeks we have also received reports of some aid groups taking advantage of vulnerable people and organizations helping people from a pure heart in the most remote areas of the Zambezia province. Church leaders in this province are in daily need of wisdom as they deal with an influx of outside help.

Besides rice distribution and clothes, seeds for the second phase of planting have been given out in Zambezia province where a lot of fields and crops have been damaged.
