Church Planter Ministry Reports December 2017

JBV

I am happy to tell you about the great things God is doing in our family and church ministry in L. We are fine by His care so far and able to keep up weekly church activities regularly such as Sunday worship, Bible study programs and monthly revival gatherings. By the help of the Holy Spirit we are able to overcome the hindrances led by the devil in the lives of believers. Praise the Lord our God!

Our Vision

- To bring lost souls to Christ (within three months there were ten Buddhist people who accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Saviour and Lord)
- To edify all believers so that they become fruitful in the Lord's work
- To plant churches among the unreached people groups
- To help more orphans and poor children in the church, and
- To be able to buy a car for transportation on Sunday

Church Main Activities

- Every Tuesday is for fasting and prayer for the ministers (four full-time and three part-time ministers)
- Every Saturday is a fasting prayer day for all believers
- There are about 50 children who attend Sunday school classes every Sunday morning divided into two groups
- Four days a week we visit people for sharing the good news of Jesus Christ
- We also have six cellgroups where Bible study and fellowship takes place
- Ministry to 12 orphans, and
- Pray for all the sponsors

Prayer Points

- To become a healthy and multiplying church
- To win the lost souls to Christ
- To achieve the visions we have and be able to buy a car, and
- To have funds for reimbursement of the land of our church

Thank you so much for your help financially and God bless you.

CLM

I give thanks to the Lord for His wonderful protection upon our family and ministry as well.

Church Activities

- Our regular Sunday worship service is held from 10am to 2pm
- We have two Sunday school places with around 20 children participating
- Youth fellowship usually meets on a Thursday night
- Around 15 prayer meetings in our church
- I was able to attend a Mission Leadership Seminar held by CCC. As a result, I equip our youth leaders and women leaders in the church. It motivates my co-workers toward potential ministry.
- We hosted six churches combining Christmas celebrations on 3rd December. Over 300 people gathered on that day.

Praise Points

Four new family members were added to our church in 2017

Prayer Points

- We need $5,000 for construction of a church building
- We also need funds for construction of a boarding house
- A 'ferry' car for church ministry

Thank you so much for your regular financial support.

Praise the Lord our God for giving us good health to continually do the ministry.

The ministry of pre-school goes very smoothly by His provision. The ministry of Sunday school is also going well. We love children coming to Sunday school to learn about the Saviour of the world.

After my lovely wife went home to her heavenly Father, I hardly survived to continue the ministry. I feel it is a very difficult situation to do the ministry alone. However, I do trust the Lord for His given task to us. I do believe that, since my death is not natural, her sacrifice will not be in vain but God knows His plan with us.

As we plan to start construction of a church building in 2018, we still have hope in God to be able to start even though we have nothing in our hands so far (Ps. 121:1-2).

Thank you so much for being faithful with us, supporting us financially. Please keep praying for us as we need you and your partnership.

'P' church planting is upward by the grace of God. I express thank you to those who support God's mission field.

In September, I could serve the Lord through sharing good news to my neighbours. Some non-Christians accepted Jesus Christ as their Saviour. They decided to be Jesus' disciples. They are now involved actively in my church and I have trained them for being true disciples.

In October, on the 26th, God rewarded us with a son who is a heritage from the Lord. We hope that he will be a collaborator of 'P' church planting. God saved us from various kinds of fatigue.

In November, God made a way to start a new home cellgroup. I believe that this home cell will become a small church very soon. I also prepared for Christmas events for sharing the Gospel to unbelievers.

'P' church planting has two worship services every Sunday, a morning worship service and an afternoon worship service. Before the morning service we have a church ministers' prayer meeting from 9-9.30am. We also have a Bible study from 9.30-10am. The morning worship service is from 10am to 12 pm and the afternoon worship service from 2-4pm. 'P' church planting is activated regularly. I'm praying to extend more church planting in 'P' city.

Christmas greetings to you all! I am happy to write a report about the ministry in the last three months. I pray and hope everything is well with you all as we do here so far. We keep you all in our prayer gatherings.

By his direction the church weekly ministry goes well. We all enjoy worshipping the Lord in every worship service and weekly activities such as visiting families, bible study, Sunday school, evangelism, etc as well. We are thankful to God for this ministry opportunity we have, only by His blood we have a right to do His work.

Quarterly we organise a conference in our church inviting pastors from remote areas who need basic bible knowledge. We share about very simple bible studies to be duplicated in their own churches. People have requested we do more of these in the future.

Outside the local church I have been involved in equipping untrained pastors and church leaders so that they can train their own people to do the Lord's ministry together. For one week every month I meet with 14 people to study God's word and conduct discipleship training. Our prayer and desire is to send them back to reach new places and to plant churches. Every three months I also spend a week in K state doing bible study with 12 untrained pastors and every four months I meet with a further 30 untrained pastors and church leaders in M, K state. I have also had the chance to visit a children's home and be able to encourage them by His word. They were lovely and behaved well.

Prayer Points
1) To plant more churches among the unreached people groups as per our vision
2) The needs of our church planters and church networks
3) Christmas celebrations in different mission fields on Dec 17th and 30th with two days evangelistic training
4) For equipment for church ministry around the country

Thank you so much for your faithful financial support.
